Overview
An immunochromatographic assay for the detection of antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum, plasma or whole blood. Test region 1 is coated with recombinant antigens gp120 and gp41 (HIV-1); test region 2 is coated with gp36 (HIV-2). Results should not be the sole basis for a clinical decision.
