Medonica blood collection tubes are made of PET or PP with HDPE/LDPE caps and bromo-butyl or butyl rubber stoppers, in a sterile clean-room environment on an automated line. The gel forms a barrier between serum and cells after centrifugation, and the clot activator speeds clotting.
Intended use: Collection of venous blood for serum separation using a gel barrier.
